Making a argument.

Table of arguments not to make. Includes fallacies.

Bad Argument Why bad? How to fix.
X is written in pseudo-science forum/journal/channel. X has problems ... Poisoning the well fallacy is that preemptively audience is informated about adverse things about opposition before actual arguments or as only argument. As such jonest actor should avoid creating a scenarios where audience is molded by this. There issome argument to have exception to this where by past history is brought up for better textual structure but past history is needed for that. Change the order sentences so say: X has problems ... . X is written in pseudo-science forum/journal/channel.
Xs say Y Potential straw man or association fallacy. Be more individual, target just the idea Y, or show examples.
X is good/bad/evil Not well defined meaning so causes people speaking cross each other. Try to find different adjective or define before use.
Word X wouldn't exist if notting has that property. Word may exist without there existing anything with properties word would imply. Closed system, for example, is not know to exist (cosmos is only candidate) but is still useful in modelling. Show that there exists both X and negation of X objects or make clear word is abstract.
