What do I expect from I Donut Believe.
Written
I just want to write this before donut lab releases VTT's report. Unlike Marko I realize that you should put your goal post/expectations before events happen. Otherwise it sound like hindsight. Hint. Hint. Marko. Do answer the title I expect facts. Not CEO venting his frustarions and same time not understanding that is his product battery or capacitor is not pratical but technical difference with these specs. Anyway, I should stop complaining about their launch youtube video because it is start of their (good) marketing and get more technical.
So what I expect is following:
- What are the questions that VTT is answering?
- Document released don't look like Donut lab tampered with them. For example no Donut trademarks.
- What procedure is VTT using make a test of the Donut battery/capacitor?
- What enviroments did VTT run the test procedure in?
- Did VTT try to test Donut battery/capacitor after some kind of emulations long term use?
- Good metadata on how did the test in person, and so on.
On test procedure I expect:
- Donut battery/capacitor was tested to not have output charge.
- Donut battery/capacitor was charged; time to fully charge, input charge voltage, etc wery measured. Graphs over time are provided.
- Donut battery/capacitor was dechraged; time to fully decharge, output charge voltage, etc wery measured. Graphs over time are provided.
I don't know will the raw data be provided. Their website did not seems to mention raw data. That would also be nice as test could be performed to check distributions are sane. Let's see. What I will add that I don't expect much of anything from youtube videos they release. Their are mostly marketing claims/spins most likely.
