Episode Look At: My Next Life as a Villainess: All routes lead to doom! Episode 3.

In this episode, we are introduced to the Ascart siblings. I like the fact that Catarina didn't know much about Nicol because she only had second-hand information. Although it was strange that Catarina doesn't use this information when later Nicol says "having forbidden love" she doesn't go to his sister.

The next episode will finally be about magic school. I have still had questions about Mary's and Alan's relationship. There was this nice interaction between Alan and Gerald early in the episode. I really wish that interaction would happen between Mary and Alan. The odd thing is that offscreen apparently Gerald and Catarina had talked about would they still be engaged or not. Catarina is of the mind that if Gerald wishes then Gerald can go after another girl. Gerald just brushes this off and pulls her in. And she blushes? Okay, so Gerald is 16 at this point. The show made a huge point earlier that she doesn't have feelings for Gerald because he was eight and she had a mind of 16 years old so in this scene 16 boy 24 girl. I'm only bringing this up because the show did it earlier. Also why the fuck wouldn't she understand the implication Gerald is saying. Keith reaction is funny so maybe worth it. Another odd thing is that show brings up the fact she didn't have the genes for magic... Again why this show even has magic but how shows words it keeps me least at hope she uses magic at least a little more the at first episode. If she would have magic to make a sword or shovel that would be good. The shovel would be funny.

Anyway. Set up for the next episode is that everyone loves Catarina and no one will love Maria. How is the supporting cast according to MAL... Maybe inside joke... Well, I hope that joke lands because I can smell the direction of the next episode.
